Today I have hit the 36th week of pregnancy mark. Only four more weeks to go now! Yikes! Even though everything is ready for the baby and we have everything we need to be prepared for his arrival, I still feel like NOTHING is ready! Now that I know I am only a month away from delivery, I am starting to get really anxious and nervous about the whole labor experience and the thought of actually taking home a newborn baby to live and stay with us! What did we get ourselves into? :) It is one thing when you help teach new parents all about life after birth, and what to expect when taking care of babies after discharge home from the hospital. However, it is an entirely different experience when YOU are the one taking the baby home and experiencing all of the things YOU teach people about before leaving the hospital. AHHHHH, is all I can say right now! Despite my anxiousness and nervousness, there is excitement. I cannot wait to hold my little guy in my arms and watch his personality shine through. Twenty eight more days to go...that is, of course, if I deliver on my due date! :)

You are going to be great! I didn't feel ready with either of my kids, but the minute the baby is born instincts completely take over and you somehow know exactly what to do - it's pretty amazing! I'm so excited for you guys!
BTW, I recently almost bought that same exact wall art piece you have behind you in the pic! You have great taste! ;)
Oh it so exciting. I cant' even imagine what is going through your head. You guys will be great.
You and Blaine are going to be great parents... before you know he will be going off to school.. then a mission... and married... all in a flash
erin! I don't have your email and I started a new blog that is private, so email me so I can send you an invite! I hope all is well- I am so happy for you and Blaine. That little baby is so lucky to have you two for parents!
