I have always loved St. Patrick's Day...especially the pinching part! When I was younger, I would pinch people EVEN if they were wearing green. I don't know why I did that, but no one ever told me to stop, so I always did it. Little did I know I married a pincher too! I woke up to a big pinch on St. Patrick's Day, even though I had painted my finger nails green the night before and was sporting the green color. I guess what goes around, comes around!
Blaine claims that he is Irish (I do not claim that I am Irish, I am Irish. If you don't believe me you can ask my Grandpa Riley.) and that St. Patrick's Day is a great day to celebrate his heritage. Ha! I like to think that I am Irish too...at least my name is! For the holiday we had our second baby appointment with the doctor. Our baby has grown so much since our first appointment four weeks ago! We could actually see the head, back, bum, and legs! Four weeks ago we only saw a jellybean! Our doctor told us he could tell us the sex of the baby in three weeks...yahoo! We are really excited to find out what we are having. Blaine wants a boy really bad, like most first-time dads do. I would like a boy first too, but have a gut feeling that it will be a girl. Even though there was no way to tell what the baby was at this appointment, Blaine swears he saw evidence of a boy in the ultrasound pic. I guess we will find out what our little "Blerin" will be soon! Happy St. Patricks Day!

I love the pinching story - funny you married one too! We actually do have some Irish in us by the way! I think one of our great-grandma's was! (I think Grandpa Ernie's mom, or his grandma, not sure...) :)
I can't believe you will find out the baby's sex in 3 weeks! I can't wait! I hope you are feeling better!
Ha! That is too funny. I love it. Erin, how are you feeling? I can't believe you find out what you're having so soon. How exciting!
