A little bit of this and a little bit of that.

I blame my recent addiction to Pinterest for the neglect of many things in my life. Since joining Pinterest within the last month, my house has progressively become dirtier, my laundry pile has become higher, my refrigerator has become more sparse, my bank account has become emptier, and I have neglected to update this blog. Okay, so maybe I am exaggerating a tiny bit here, but you get the point. For those of you following Pinterest, you know what I am talking about! On the flip side, for those of you who are not following Pinterest, DON'T START!...just kidding. It really is a great place to find amazing recipes, fun crafts, and clever ideas. However, once you join, it is kind of hard to stay away! Anyway, because of this new addiction of mine, I have been crafting and baking like crazy. Well, maybe not baking as much as crafting! I will post all of my recent crafts later. But, for now, here are some pictures from the last month or so...

SnOw!!!...finally

We were beginning to wonder whether or not Cannon would be able to wear his snowsuit this year. And then it happened...it finally snowed enough to play in! Cannon and I made sure to take advantage of playing out in the snow while Riley was taking her morning nap today. We had fun building two snowmen, one on the BBQ and one with a temperature (Cannon's doing)...




Yay for snow!...I am sure I won't be feeling this way in a couple hours on my way to work.

Look Who Is Potty Trained!!!

After a month of potty charts, potty treats, and a few accidents, Cannon is a potty user! We are so proud of our little boy and soooo relieved that we don't have to change his giant diapers anymore. Wahoo! Cannon loves being "a big boy" and wearing his spiderman underwear every day. Next on our list is buying the bike we promised him once potty trained. Now for his underwear dance pic...

Making Kiss Cookies for V-Day

Today Cannon and I had some fun in the kitchen. Since Valentine's Day is tomorrow, I thought it would be fun to make Kiss cookies for his cute little friends in the neighborhood, who ALL happen to be girls! Lucky Cannon! Cannon had a lot of fun and was such a good little helper with helping me measure out the ingredients, stir, and place Hershey kisses on the cookies. He is so excited to go out for a wagon ride after his nap today and deliver his cookies to his cute little girlfriends! Happy Valentine's Day!

Baby Cereal and BYU Basketball

Riley tried baby cereal for the first time last night. I know, kind of late, but whatever. We introduced Cannon to baby cereal after he turned 6 months as well. At first Riley wasn't too sure about the cereal. However, she became more and more interested with each bite taken and eventually really liked the cereal. Her eagerness for more bites was super cute!








Also, we are in full swing of college basketball season. More importantly, BYU basketball. Blaine is a little obsessed. It is hard to watch anything else this time of year when a game is on, not to mention NFL and NBA games! So, to get in the spirit of BYU playing Gonzaga tonight, I dressed the kids up in BYU apparel. I think the kids kind of liked it. :)
